Laboratory - CryoStorage - Offices
The offices, laboratory and cord blood bank of Omnigen SA are located in Marousi - next to the largest maternity hospitals in the country (MITERA, IASO, LITO) and at the junction of Attica Road (Kifisias ave). This allows immediate collection, processing and storage of each sample within a few hours from any hospital in Attica and the rest of the country through the airport "El. Venizelos".
Omnigen SA always invests in the most modern technology for the testing, processing and long-term cryopreservation of your sample. The result of this effort is the creation of one of the most well-equipped and complete laboratories in Greece in terms of processing and storage of stem cells as well as the necessary laboratory testing.
The isolation and processing of cells and tissues in the laboratory is performed in specially designed sterile positive pressure rooms (sterile, positive pressure Clean Rooms) always following good laboratory and manufacturing practices (GLP, GMP). To be precise, these are Clean Rooms which meet 100% the strictest specifications for processing biological material.
Cryopreservation is carried out in state-of-the-art tanks in controlled areas for complete safety with 24-hour monitoring and paging.
The company's staff collects and processes biological material 365 days a year, thus ensuring rapid isolation and storage of your baby's stem cells. It is known that the maximum viability of stem cells is preserved within the first 72 hours.
